We went back to the same breakfast place. When we got there their fried chicken was almost gone. So we went across the street to another vendor to see what they were selling. We found something new - doughnut twists. See plate of food at bottom. Then came back to get the fried chicken and fried bananas.
Fried chicken in the back caldron and fried coconut bananas in the front.
Fried chicken feet in the small contain mid center on the left. Below very ripe bananas to use to fry. On the left in large pan - squash fried in coconut flakes. Center - bananas fried in coconut flake and on the right the fantastic fried chicken.
We took everything home to eat. Starting on center left of plate: sticky rice served with crisp fried onions. Going clockwise - fried chicken, doughnut twist, and bananas fried in coconut flakes. In the banana leaf is a small portion of sticky rice with a sweet onion sauce on top.
We are back for another dinner at the Night Market. The samosa lady was not there. I am sad.
She made us papaya salad and a cucumber salad. We also got meat on a stick. Almost all of the meat skewers had a sweet sauce on them. The beef was grisly and fatty. Even Michael couldn't eat them. We go several skewers with chicken products on them - most with the sweet sauce and one large piece that was pretty much Tandor chicken. All good.
Heading off the main drag onto our side street. On the right is a small - very stinky stream. Turn left at the end of the bridge to go towards the Green View Resort and our little house.
Yup, that´s a lot of fried food...
ReplyDeleteI think the mango salad is the only fruit or vegetable I've seen so far. Hope you brought lots of prunes with you!
