Today we were planning to take the train to Malmo Sweden. To get there we have to go to Copenhagen Central station and then catch the train in the right direction for Sweden. We had gotten about 30 minutes into our journey when we realized that we were going the opposite direction. In other words - we were heading deeper into Denmark not heading for Sweden. Once we realized this we got off at the next train station. This turned out to be in the middle of no-where at a commuter stop for a lot of rural folks from varied villages would park there cars and take the train to Copenhagen. Everyone was starving as it was about 1:30pm - but there were no food options.
Not Malmo!
We waited up at the top in the enclosed area for the next train back to Copenhagen. The wind left a chill in the open air.
We are back in the Copenhagen Central Station.
We bought snacks at the 7-11 to tide us over until we could reach the Chinese restaurant two whole blocks away!
There was a McDonalds in the station as well.
The entrance to the Chinese restaurant - the food was very good. Or maybe we were just way too hungry!
The Adults were stuffed - but the girls found room for ice cream only 3 stores down the block.
We walked a few blocks further to "The Lakes" where the planetarium is located. More view of one of the three lakes below.
This mother/son combo had collected some specimens from nature. Natasha just walked up and asked to see what they had. They graciously let her see - even changing to English so she could understand.
It looks like a fun day, in spite of the train mishap.

A comedy of errors, that day! But fun now enough time has passed to think on it.
