Saturday Street Market

The Saturday street market is directly in front of us.  We are at the midpoint of the market.  The narrow one lane road with cars parked on both sides of the street is gone.  Fruit and vegetable stands along with fish stands take their place.  We can hear the calls from the vendors in our 5th floor apartment.  "My vegetables are the freshest - buy yours here!", each vendor calls loudly.  Or that is what I image they are saying.  We shower, eat breakfast and head down.  At first we find we are behind the vendors stands - but we find a break and go through so we can meander up and down the street to see what is available.

We bought potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, white fish fillets for dinner.  The view below is from our apartment.  You can't see much because everyone has awnings to keep out the sun.

Views of apartments across the street.  Most everyone has plants on there patios

Directly down from out apartment - some tiles on a roof - and some not so careful tiles.

The sunset was great tonight - but at an angle.
