We did this tour in Amman Jordan. We were supposed to go to "yet another Crusaders Castle", but opted for this museum. They accepted the Jordan pass for free admission - another plus for us. So this post is for all the men in my life who love cars and motorcycles. I don't know much about either, except what I have heard from those who love them. So this post is for them. I used small jpg as our Internet is very slow. This upload of photos went so much faster than the large jpg. Since I can't tell a Packard from a Cadillac - I have included the signage at the museum.
King Hussein loved cars and motorcycles and owned a lot of them. He came from a wealthy family. His life was very difficult after he became king. He was blamed for everything - never appreciated for what he did right for the people. His grandfather seemed also to be respected. His father only ruled a year - it was decided that there was something wrong with him mentally and so the duties of king passed on to Hussein. He was very young when we became king. So it is admirable that he was so determined to stick it through and not give up in spite of all the negativity. There were other attempts on his life before he was assassinated in front of a mosque in Jerusalem. Now his name is legend in all of Jordan.
