We are staying for one week in southeastern Sicily in a resort town called Arenella Beach. The entire town is beach house rentals with one bakery/eatery. Since it is beyond the summer season, there is almost no one here. Most of the houses around us are boarded up. It is very strange. We have been to the beach twice - and it has been very sparse population - so that has been good. I imagine it is much more crowded during the summer season.
So, I guess the good news is there's lots of time for conversation with family?
