I have gotten a little behind and so will do a couple of catch up posts. I have been taking photos of our apartment and our views off and on at different times of the day - so these don't come from a specific date.
A typical breakfast made in the apartment. Toast made in the oven - no toaster, but at least we don't have to wok fry the bread as we did in the previous apartment. There are 4 mugs, 4 wine glasses and 2 shot glasses. So I drink my orange juice from a wine glass.
A random hawker mall meal. The meal costs about $3 USD.
Now some shots down into our neighborhood from our 17th floor apartment.
A staircase shot in our apartment - hope we never have the need to do 17 flights of steps!
A shoot from our floor up to the 29th floor and all the air conditioning units.
Our living/dining area
The kitchen and cleaning supplies.
A nearby temple and graveyard.
This seems to be the carpark for a car repair place. All around our high-end apartment building there are car related business. Want to buy a car, need a new transmission, need any other repairs - you can find them all in our neighborhood.
The apartment buildings around us don't seem that great - but everyone has a least 1 if not 2 cars. It seems cars are relatively inexpensive here. Gas is also, as Malaysia has its own oil fields and refineries. About $2 USD per gallon.
Night scenes - that is a crane on the right.
The sun comes out more often here than it did in Melaka. That means it is warmer as well - take that to mean quite hot. Also very humid which is hard on me. Not used to that in dessert New Mexico!
looks like a great highrise! What is the Malaysian typical breakfast?
ReplyDeleteDad answered that in his blog - noodles!
DeleteThe orange juice in a wine goblet is so fancy! It reminds me of when I arrived in this apartment and drank whisky from a god rimmed teacup because that was the only drinking vessel I could find.
