Thursday was a very windy - rainy day. And Friday dawned windy but sunny. So the waves were high, but the sun was shining - at least part of the time.
In spite of the high winds and waves, people were in the water. But the season is over and no life guards are in sight. Not knowing any Italian - I have no idea if anything bad has happened. So I choose to believe that all is well. These photos were taken in late afternoon into sunset.
The next few photos shows the laundromat from the past. Women would come down these steps to wash their clothes - or their clients clothes.
