The weather has changed from sunny to stormy. We had a thunderstorm last night that ended up causing some damage on the beach. I don't know if it is because we are on the 20th floor or what - but the thunder sounded very dramatic. The worst happened after I had gone to bed around 11pm so I did not see the lightening.
Tonight the low will reach 63 and tomorrow's high is predicted to be 71 degrees F. Friday and Saturday were quite hot. For our last several weeks the temps will fluctuates between highs of high 70's to high's of low 70's - so still a lot warmer than in Albuquerque. The rain is supposed to continue off and on for the next few days.
The first time we came to El Campello in Spring of 2023 there was a storm that caused so much flooding and a lot more damage to the beach. That time, Michael and I walked to the grocery store while there was still lots of water on the streets - in some places above our ankles - and Michael ruined his shoes and had to buy new ones here. Here is my blog post after that storm: https://gloandmikeabroad.blogspot.com/2023/05/may-23-perfectly-miserable-day.html
