Saranda for the night

After driving through the hard rain, we arrived in Saranda around 2pm.  Migen really wanted to to to Butrint, but you really can't see anything in the rain and it gets dark before 5pm here.  So as it is still pouring rain, Migen orders in food for himself.  Mike and I decide to brave the elements and go to a restaurant nearby.  We look like aliens, dressed in our plastic rain capes and carriyng big umbrellas.  But after we have started our meal we notice that it is getting lighter outside.  Woe, is that the sun?  Yes it is - we rush through our meal and go back to the hotel to get our cameras.  There is not enough time to get to Butrint, but we can walk along the beachfront and take photos.  The light is fantastic.
