We got to the cruise location before dark - so took some time for photos.
If you remember my lime/prune juice from the other day - it is a thing here to have salted drinks. That was a salted prune in my lime juice. Because it is so hot and people sweat a lot - but it is definitely an acquired taste!

The Menara Taming Sari - a revolving 80m high viewing tower. The skies have been cloudy and grey the whole time we have been in Melaka - so we didn't think it would be worth it.
Time to get in line for the cruise. And then we are off.
Lots of painted houses.
And colorfully lit bridges.
all the locales with their references to their former colonial invaders, makes me sad that no one in Europe remembers most of that history at all. But that sunset is beautiful - reminds you all this history is very brief in the broader universe of time.
