The last of Kagoshima

At the end of our tourist train trip we arrived at Kagoshima - Chuo station to find a small festival going on right next door.  Now we just need the grandkids to tell us who these characters are!

They certainly kept this little boy enthralled!

My H posted a lot of the pictures of statues we took our last morning in Kagoshima.  Here is one of the Satsuma Students that was right in front of the train station.

We had a wonderful view of the volcano from our hotel room on the 14th floor.

Most of the last morning in Kagoshima was cold and rainy - but that doesn't stop us!  We just take turns holding the umbrellas!

Now back to Kagoshima - Chuo to catch the train to Hakata.

Here is a link to my husbands blog for the rest of the story:  http://de-intimidator.blogspot.jp/

  2. I LOVE that you both are into photography right now. That photo of holding the umbrella says it all.
