So ow I am going back in time to post our lovely visit with our daughter Stephanie and our grandson Arti. They flew from Ca to help us plant the spring garden.
This may not seem like many plants - but look below- there are many soil amendments that need to be put into place. At first Stef was over whelmed by the number of bags, but then she realized that they were not that heavy - we had chosen the size based on what we could do.
Rose lane is in full bloom - they always do well in early spring!
Our two imported garden workers - they were so wonderful.
My birthday present this year was another garden gnome. Last year I received this one. A gnome holding a cat on a unicorn with a flag and a gun. I kept it inside as I did not know what to do with it.
The new gnome this year is a dinosaur. I am trying to figure out what this should mean to me - No - maybe it just has to do with my daughters since of humor. OK - just put the in the garden.
The planted out garden looks great.
So glad it is done - and so glad we had so much help. Thank you so much California daughter and grandson!
If it were me, I would take a picture of the gnomes in the garden to send to the gifter, then quietly send the gnomes to the thrift store :) But that's because looking at those gnomes every day works freak me out.
